League of Pissed Off Voters March 2024
In the 2024 March primaries, several ballot measures were introduced that championed progressive causes, while others undermined equity for working families, the unhoused and San Franciscans in general. I partnered with the League of Pissed Off Voters to boost the message of their voter guide recommendations with some tongue-in-cheek, yet informative, visual assets designed for stopping the scroll.

The League also organized in-person pub crawl events throughout neighborhoods in San Francisco. Everyone from folks working in City Hall to those simply curious about progressive politics had an opportunity to meet, talk shop and learn more about the upcoming propositions and their potential impact on the city. They’d take this opportunity to distribute their voter guide in these neighborhood communities. I helped spread the word about the invent through additional Instagram assets.
And how did the posts do?
A gallery post of all the relevant assets, framed as their voter guide, garnered 478 likes and 10 comments. An earlier gallery post of three key ballot issues caught 247 likes and 9 comments.
Each individual proposition post accrued, on average, 200 views, with the more contentious issues performing higher by these specific metrics.
The in-person pub crawls, which were aimed at a more specific audience, brought out a solid crew of about 15 folks on average between the two events, to distribute the literature to patrons and passersby. People are usually pretty amped to get their hands on the Pissed Off Voter Guide!
